"I would leave 0 stars if I could. It has taken me some time to write this review because I was so angry and heartbroken by their actions. I was also taken appalled by the legal theft and dishonesty. I want my money back for all those years that they claimed to cover. My pipes burst and the house flooded. The initial person that they sent out was a very rude and dismissive gentlemen. He had already decided that they were not going to cover the flood damage before inspecting the home. This agency sent out a more compassionate and professional gentlemen the second time but they still denied my claim. I paid these people for almost a decade and never had any claims. I paid so many other things out of pocket throughout the years that went wrong with the home to avoid making unnecessary claims because surely they would be there for me if major disaster occurred. I didn't want to take advantage of the insurance. The greatest insult is the falsification of the reports, stating that the flood happened on a date that I did not report. That is fraud according to attorneys and their insurance governing body. They have to go by the date that I report that I found the issue. Ultimately, I paid tens of thousands out of pocket to repair the home, which I was not prepared to do and pushed me further into debt and led to stress causing medical conditions. They exploit residents of Niagara Falls by insuring homes easily but will not accept any responsibility if something actually happens to the property. I was forced to sell my beloved home to pay back lenders and creditors that I needed to repair the home. I now live in another state, and surprise, surprise, State Farm is well known for taking customer's money but then dropping them when disaster strikes or refusing to pay claims. I will never ever trust State Farm again, especially this particular agency who employs dishonest and disrespectful people. Take your money elsewhere residents of Niagara Falls and all across the nation. I sincerely hope that all State Farm agencies go out of business. I mean it from the depths of my soul. Unfortunately, we all know this will never happen because cruelty, theft, and dishonesty is capitalism at its finest. It is the American way."
